Wir nähern uns mit großen Schritten dem Jahresende und da wird es Zeit, die vergangenen 12 Monate einmal Püree massieren zu lassen. Und wie könnte man das besser machen, als mit einer pompösen Award-Show? Seit einigen Jahren veranstaltet Industrie-Veteran Geoff Keighley die wohl mittlerweile wichtigste Preisverleihung der Gamesbranche. In diesem Jahr wird die Veranstaltung sogar in 4K übertragen. Wer also über einen entsprechenden Fernseher verfügt, kann sich einige der Spielpremieren in feinster hochaufgelöster Qualität ansehen. Ausgestrahlt wird die Verleihung auf allen großen Plattformen von Konsolen bis Social Media Kanälen. Erstmals wird es in diesem Jahr zudem ein The Game Awards Orchester geben, das für die musikalische Untermalung des Abends sorgt und von besonderen Gästen unterstützt wird.
